To organize such a big sports event as Universiade would be impossible without the support of the whole society, particularly important economic structures.
During the bidding procedure the candidate state is usually supported by the highest authorities, who explicitly and repeatedly express their readiness to back up the organization of the Games. The composition of the UB2009 Organizing Committee witnesses that Universiade Belgrade 2009 has enjoyed undivided support of all state institutions.
Besides socio-political support, one of the key factors is partnership with companies and organizations whose experience and know-how can ensure efficient preparations and successful Games. Since the moment when Serbia was granted the rights to host the 25th Summer Universiade, a team of sponsors and partners has been developing. Their authority has been guaranteed by the most successful international brands.
As the preparations are progressing and the Games getting closer, this group should enlarge and strengthen. The expected result of the common interests of organizers and companies is the best organized and biggest Universiade in the history of this major sports event.
